Yes, presuming you're using MSIE. The best way would be to restrict any cookie usage, by going to Tools>options>security>restrict all cookies. And then, to clear out the cache, go to the same Internet Options file, and click on settings. Go to the amount of space you want to spend on cache (probably less than 10MB - I have it at 200MB).

Hope that helps,
kram

software

If you don't mind paying for shareware window washer by webroot software does this and more. You can schedule a washing at shutdown or upon startup. Been using it for a long time it and it has never once caused a problem for me.You should be able to schedule a disk cleanup function in scheduled tasks (win xp) which should do what you want also.
Older op systems had a maintenance feature which you could schedule.

In IE, under Tools > internet options > advanced you can check the box to empty temporary internet files folder when browser closed down at the bottom under security options.

If I lower the cache to 10MB then wouldn't the pages take longer to load?
