new dell laptop and nero

I'm trying to burn a CD with nero 5 on my dell 8600. I installed nero, and whenever I try to burn a CD it automatically tries to burn the contents to a image file, not a cd.

when I open nero, I tell it to burn to CD-ROM (ISO), like i should.. even nero express and the wizard tries to burn to an image.

I reran the CD-RW drive detection, but that didn't seem to help.

Any ideas?

I had the same problem with my Inspiron 5100 a month ago. You probably have a combo cdrw/dvd drive like me. You have to get the updates for Nero. That solved my problem.
