Worm Blaster

When Downloading SP1 for WinXP Pro Warning Came up on screen reading This M/C has recieved an RPC Code and will shut in x amount of seconds.Since M/C has shut down it just keeps rebooting up to xp logo again and again. Need help

did you try booting in safe mode?

your supposed to turn that stuff off when downloading the paches from the ms site

You need to apply the Blaster patch & then run the blaster removal tool from microsoft or symantec

I had this happen to me before, and I did not turn off anything besides my firewall

turn off the virus detection when updateing the patches
