Question cant delete printer!!

I have win 2000 and am trying to delete a printer but it wont delete! I have rebooted and cleaned the registry but it still says "deleting" when I click on the printer in "printers". It still says there are 2 documents waiting to be printed. There is no listing of the printer in add\remove programs or in hardware. When I reboot the computer, an error pops up twice a few minutes apart saying the printer "bjc5000"cant be detected, make sure it is plugged in.....blah, blah.. blah". can anybody tell me how to delete this printer once and for all?
Thanks,
Ron

do you have other programs that came on the install disk with the printer ?? like a photoshop or some other kind of thing? maybe that is holding up the uninstall? i know you can go into your hardrive and delete the files but only if you cannot get it any other way first.
i am just putting out suggestions to help along the way , hope they help..
sometimes you can reinstall then uninstall , you never know could work

Did you try to purge the printer "que" before you tried to delete or uninstall it?
