Windows 3.1 and DMF disks
Can I read 1.7meg DMF formated diskettes from DOS 6.22?

Your thread header and question lead to issues of what you really want to know.
1) windows 3.1 was distributed in 1.44 format. 2) By using a multiformat utility you can read DMF. I use a package including FDFORMAT and FDREAD which I downloaded off the web from Germany I think. You could do a google search for FDFORMAT and find a download site. There is at least one other package that will do it, but I've never needed another program since the one I have takes care of the needs. |
