Help !!!! Outlook express problems

All of a sudden my outlook express will not open from the desk top icon or the file folder in program files. I am running win/2000. I have tried everything I know of. What are my options now.
Thanks ahead for any links or help

Just a shot in the dark here. Press Ctrl-Alt-Del and look at the Processes running in the Task List. So you see msimn.exe there? If so, highlight it, and then click the End Process button. Now try to start Outlook Express.
