XP with Java and Print Spooler Problems

I have this unique problem that resulted from the removal of the Pinfi Virus. Evidentally, my windows related programs will not function with Java.

Internet Explorer will not run any scripts that use Java. Also, the Find function has been disabled.

In Windows Explorer, the computer search function has been disabled. When you click on Search all you get is a blank Window.

Lastly, the Print Spooler quit functioning and now NO printer will work as I get the error, "Operation can not be completed". When I do further probing, I find that the Print Spooler has not been loaded and I cannot load it.

I have been using Opera for browsing and transfer files to my laptop for printing in the meantime as I am trying to find a solution. I have tried about everything short of messing with the registry ex: Reinstalling different versions of Java etc, etc. I have pretty much given up, but now a friend from another town has the same exact problem and I am curious if anyone here has heard of it or a solution. Thanks to any replies.
