winMe upgrade install problems
Hello When using my winMe upgrade CD to do a clean install. At the point it asks to insert your win98 CD for verification a box comes up for me to enter the "path" so it could find whatever it needs from the CD. I cxan't seem to type in the correct path. I have tried D:\win98 also D:\win98\setup. I have also tried using "E" in place of what is my D drive. Help!!

if you have a cd-player and another burner, put your CD in the other one.
You can also check with explorer what the correct path is and paste it from there noby |

Maybe you misunderstood. I need simply to give it the "correct" command (path) to retrieve the info off the disk. I know my cdrom is my D drive. in some instances when formatting it gets bumped up a letter 'till the install is complete. If I knew what I was doing I probably could explain myself better. Thanks

noby to use a winMe upgrade CD you must verify that you purchased a win98 Cd. Only for verification purposes
