I just did a new install, winXP Pro on my system. I have cable modem, and cannot connect to internet. I plugged in enet into nic and the system tells me my nic is working properly, i went through the wizard to set up internet connection and IE does can not connect. I set up my outlook as well and outlook couldnot detect internet connection. Any suggestions??

Power the cable modem off for 15 minutes and turn it back on, when you get a steady cable light turn the computer on.
