"Open with..." menu
Hi,
I'd like to know how to change the menu (when pressing right mouse button) to open a program in a submenu, instead of opening up a complete different window. When I now press the right mouse button I get the text "Open with..." Can somebody help me with this? PiC |

I am a tad confused by the question. Are you trying to open a file that does not have a program associated with it by default?
In that case, when you are on the "Open with..." window, check the "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" box. I hope this helps, but if it's not the answer to your question perhaps you could clarify. |

No what I mean is...
1. I click the right mouse button on a file (.jpg for example). 2. Then I go to "Open with..." 3. I get a new window asking to look up a program on the internet or to look up a program on the hardrive. This is a Windows XP pro edition with preinstalled settings or something. When I used Windows XP Home edition I got a nice little submenu (without step 3) when I wanted to open up a file with another program. So I'd like to change the way I can choose an alternate way of opening a program. PiC |

It depends on the file. Sometimes that happens, even though its the same file and you have the program. I don't know why. Some of my files are also like that. I would like to know this myself
