XP Pro: How do I delete a created 2nd User Account??
I was advised by Microsoft to create a second user account to solve an issue I had with installing a game.
Creating a second user account did not solve my problem and I would like to just safely delete it but I'm not sure how to do this. Is it possible to delete a 2nd user account without reformatting my HD? Thanks in advance

Go to Contral panel, user acounts, double click the user name you wish to delete, then at the bottom there should be a delete accounts option. You have to be a computer administrator to do this and be logged onto a different account then the one you want to delete.

Yes, thank you colecifer.
I saw the option to delete after rebooting but I didn't see it there before I did. Sorry bout that. I should have rebooted before posting this question. Thanks again |
