pci vga card and duel display - conflict

Hi, I have a PIII 600mhz pc running win 2000. The monitor has been replaces and now the owner cannot see the mouse pointer.

It is visable in safe mode.

The montor driver has been updated and still no joy.

I have gone into start>settings>control panel>display> clicked on settings to disable duel display. The button is there but is dimmed out.

We also have problems with the mouse as well. The pointer is not visable (prob on the other non existant screen). Pointer works in safe mode.

The device manager says that VMOUSE files cannot be loaded.

Oh yes forgot to say that we do not have the windows 2000 disk.

Any help please

Dave

If this is a name brand mouse such as Logitech or Microsoft, install the driver software.
