there will be a good chance that some of them may need to be reinstalled.
you will need to reinstall the sp1 and all the upgrades and patches again for sure though

I have a similar/same type of system. I dunno if your hd is partitioned or not, but I have a dual hd hookup (the other hd serves as a backup drive) and every time I prepare a restore/reformat for the C:, the other hd is untouched by the procedure unless I tell it to do something with that drive. If you have the same dual hd setup that I do and you're still unsure about the install, disconnect the other drive entirely and go ahead with the procedure to ensure C: is the only one to be affected.

Cool

The two time I have done a repair all my apps. worked. Only thing I had to reinstall was SP1 and the security patches.

Send a message via ICQ to RJ
Slipstream SP1 if you don't have a WinXP CD with integrated SP1. That way everything should work.
Did a repair a couple of weeks ago and if I remember correctly I didn't need to reinstall my apps and games.
