Welcome to PCmech.

You may not have the proper cipher strength on your browser. If you are using IE, click Help>About Internet Explorer. If the cipher strenght is less than 128-bit, you need to update it to the latest version. Also download and update Spybot S&D and AdAware to check for any malware that may be causing this.

Spybot S&D and AdAware

Unhappy

Thanks for the help but I'm still getting the same response, but I think that it did get rid of the Active X problem. I am running on 128, so thats not the problem and the adware did help clear out some stuff but still the same problem. If you have any other ideas please PLEASE tell them to me I am open to anything right now any assistance will help thanks.

I forgot to ask you, how long has this been going on? I'm assuming you are using IE. You can download and use Mozilla as a temporary solution if you must access the sites.

If you are using IE, try Tools>Internet Options>Security and click on Default Level. Do the same for the Privacy, Advanced tabs.

If the above doesn't help, you may want to consider reinstalling IE. Anyone else have any possible solutions?

Hth,

e.n.

Edit: Hey, I found this article in the Knowledge Base on the M$ site. This might help you get it fixed.

I've tried this fix a few times on cutomer's computers, and its always worked:

Close IE

Open a command prompt (Start-->Run, type cmd, hit OK)

Note: Press the Enter key after each line. Click OK when you receive the message "DllRegisterServer in FileName succeeded."

type:

regsvr32 softpub.dll
regsvr32 wintrust.dll
regsvr32 initpki.dll
regsvr32 dssenh.dll
regsvr32 rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 sccbase.dll
regsvr32 slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 cryptdlg.dll

After that, close the dos window and try logging in to the site.
