Weird
I posted a topic once and asked for help on my families windows 98 pc as it was not shutting down properly and I just thought I'd tell you that once I updated their graphics card driver it all worked again. That came as a surprise to me as I didn't know that that could have effected it at all. Just wanted to let you know just in case anyone else has this problem

Thanks for letting us know!
That is, in fact, one of the steps in the aumha.org Windows Shutdown Troubleshooter. You can refer friends having shutdown problems to those pages (has troubleshooters for both the Win9x line and the NT/2k/XP line as well). The one for Win9x is at http://www.aumha.org/win4/a/shutdown.htm . . . and the one for XP is at http://www.aumha.org/win5/a/shtdwnxp.htm . . . and Thanks again! |
