XP install problem!

I reformatted my h-drive an when i rebooted i got a screen with 2 windows XP with option to highlight an pick either. i picked the first 1 an started to reload software an when i restarted my computer i tried the other for the heck of it an it said that that copy of XP good not be accessed because of errors. when i was reformatteing i couldnt get it to boot from CD-RW but did get it after all . when my computer boots up it automatically continues but would like to get rid of the other version if it is on there when i reformatted there is 3 partitions but couldnt delete the others except c: drive any advice would be helpful thanks.

you have to go to the HDD manufactor website and download a hard drive util. so you can delete the partition, and repartition your HDD, or you can use a IBM HDD util. to do so.

my dell laptop came with an xp disk (for use on dell only) if yours did use it and it should format the HD and install xp ,then use the other disk for installing programs. you probably already known this but you need to go into bios and make cdr first boot.
