Searched it on google and saw many hijackthis logs on forums but no one said it was bad. From what i could see its part of a antivirus since its in a folder called "Anti-V~1"

HI ! ghost !
Hi ! Lobos ! Woops ! , forgot about this post, but a light just went on that I had none posted. Sorry-- need to remember to get back sonar-------------- Thank you both for responding to my question. Well------Lobos-----you nailed it-----Stop Sign-,I do have it on my computer. I will get rid of it . It doesn't show in my tray. I have to admit, I am a " download try program junkie ". I get a e-mail every other day of a list of programs for me to try. My urge gets to me. The ones I download are about 95% utilities. I just love to try the ones that interest me. I get a e-mail almost every day , or every other day from http://www.newestshareware.com/ . They list about 15 programs to try in each e-mail. There is free ware there also. Some were very good that I downloaded.-----O--Well----I will go and delete that program of my post.-------------------Don P.S.: ghost---thanks for your reply on what you thought it was or wasn't. I welcome anybody's ideas that take a shot at my post problems. If someone is not sure whether to send their answer on a problem , hey , go ahead and send it. I always have 'System Restore " |

donald:
doing that will get you into some gig trouble. that is the best way to get spyware and virus and to cause all kinds of system problems. I would suggest that you restrain your self from doing that before its too late, |

Hi Bailey !
Thanks so much for your reply. I agree with watch you say , but , I have been allright for over 2 &1/2 years (knock on wood). I have been using free version of Zone Alarm for my fire wall and free version of AVG for my Anti-virus protection. It is amazing how both Zone Alarm amd AVG have worked together so well with XP . No , it is not that I am cheap to use the free versions, it is that I live off Social Security and you know how tight that can be. I check each tome on the computer for a current up date on AVG virus protection. I also have now a free version of a spy ware program. I can run that every day in the background. So you can see , it keeps my computer clean. Yes , I have been hit by a few viruses that didn't hurt me. In the past , I have made a post here about the ones that have hit me. So far I can see no damage. That AVG has a 'Shield' that it runs , but I do run a FULL scan from time to time. They have picked up those viruses that I said I got. I have abbot 70,000 files to check and the viruses check covers about 12 1/2 gigs on my computer.------ )-O----Well, ---- like Jon Bon Jovi sings I'm a " Living on a Prayer".---------------Don |
