I'm running XP Pro, and Explorer 6.0 w/ cable internet connection.
The university I work for uses Microsoft Exchange as our e-mail server. When I attempt to access my e-mail at home (as I am doing today), I keep running into this quirky problem. I am able to access my inbox. I am able to read my e-mail. However, the problem occurs when I go to compose a new message, reply to a message or forward a message. When I select to compose a new message, I am able to type in the to, cc, and bcc fields. However, the message body field is unaccessible. In it's place is a small red x icon, similar to the icon that appears when an image doesn't load on a website. This same problem occurs when I go to reply to a message. When I forward a message, I experience the same problems. Additionally, after I depress the send button, I recieve a "The page cannot be found" error message. This occurs with or without Zone Alarm running. I've also disabled my popup blocker and the problem still occurs. The boys at university pc support are stumped, too. My Explorer settings appear to be correct (after reviewing them with the support staff). I do not run into this problem at work. It appears to be a probem with my computer and my computer only. I'm stumped. Thoughts? Thanks, Bronson |

briley,
Do you have any type of pop-up blocker/stopper installed on your home computer? -LW |
