login blocked etc.
Due to problems with me, I inserted restore disc, but when menu came up and I hit correct no. nothing happened. Went to system restore and when calender came up I recd error 30 which blocked any further action. When I download a virous protector and hit the action button nothing happens. Any help would be appreciated. Al

what were the problems you were having to put the restore cd in? and what make computer is it?

When the cd is in and the menu comes up on the screen, you must hit the number, such as 4, which initiates the action, but nothing happens. The pc is a compaq presario purchased in 2001.

Anyway, Try searching microsoft's website for "error 30", Or try searching Google. |
