Clipboard viewer?
I miss the use of the clipboard viewer that could be installed from disk (not default installed) on the 9x OS platforms. Is there any utility similar available for XP?

Yes there is, it's called the clipbook viewer - an overlooked utility. It should be in your WINDOWS\system32\clipbrd.exe .. its now called clipbook viewer.
