xp will not boot
I made a change from msconfig for safe mode start up because I was having boot issues with xp and now the machine will get to ctrl+al+del in safe mode but the keyboard and the mouse are not responsive. I have waited for at least 10 minutes and nothing. I have the xp disk but whenever I boot from the cd drive the machine starts xp recovery. Help!!!!!!

So explain to me again what is exactly wrong with running XP recovery?
