Run has disappeared

Believe it or not when I go to start the window opens but my run is not there. Can you tell me how to get it back? Thanks

Check the start menu properties:
Right click on the start button and go to PROPERTIES
Click the Custome button > Navigate to the Advanced tab scroll below and ensure that the Run command is checked.

If you cannot enable it you will need to check your group policy to see if its disabled.
START > RUN > gpedit.msc
Navigate to:
User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar
What does the value for:
Remove Run from Start Menu read?
If it reads Enabled, then double click on it and make it 'not configured' or make it disabled.
