please help with this simple question
rarely i get these ballons with exclamation marks in them and says that a file maybe corrupted and run chkdsk so i just restart the computer and everything is fine again. but can anyone give me tips on how to prevent this from happening again

I don't think I've every gotten a ballon warning.. interesting. What comes to mind is: have you done a complete surface scan on the drive in question?

What files, random or specific ones? Anything to do with M$ Office files (Word, Excel, etc.)?

Windows files? LoL, what are you doing opening .dll and .sys files? What file extension do you mean? Definately try a full surface scan using ScanDisk (Error-Checking) by right clicking your HD and going to properies->tools.
