installing xp

I installed xp home today on new build and all seemed fine. When I tried to load the chipset drivers, about half way through, it stopped and said something was missing and I needed to repair windows. So I put in the cd and hit enter and it started to load again and asked if I wanted to install or repair. I hit repair and in a few minutes windows came back. I tried loading the drivers again and saw that they loaded the first time. I went ahead and did the express load (Gigabyte board) and all is well. I just never had something like this happen with XP in six builds.

One little zig when it should have zagged is all it takes.

Should seen the time I tripped and yanked the power cord out 98% into an install. Then there was the time.......
