disabling tooltips
In issue 4/8/2004 of PC Mechanic newsletter, I fillowed the instructions I found in "This Week's Mailbag" on disabling XP tooltips. I changed the registry setting exactly as described and rebooted. There was no change.
I checked and re-checked my operation. Is there anyone who has better information on getting rid of this incredibly annoying "feature"? Thanks, gordonz |

Tweak UI from MS power toys has an option under taskabr to turn them off.
