virus affected win98 SE ?
Off late my monitor goes blank all of a sudden.
This happens occasionaly when I click on IE icon. Also the network printer which was working fine so far has stopped. My updated antivrus software "AntiVir" does not report any virus detection. Is my Win 98 SE virsu affected ? |

if you think you may have a virus, check out http://housecall.trendmicro.com. it is a free online virus scan. i don't necessarily know the problems you are having would be caused by a virus, but you can always try scanning with housecall. i will do some more research at school and see if i can figure it out. craig

that sounds like more of a hardware issue than a virus. does it always happen when you click IE, or is it just sometimes. does it happen other times, too?
have you tried using a different monitor if you have one available? craig |
