...or so it seems! I was cleaning some files and whatnot, and after rebooting my computer, all the fonts in my windows version (XP pro) have been replaced by those wingdings (or whatever theyre called) symbols! Now all i see is a bunch of little squares, circles, etc. so it's very hard to get anything done 'cause i don't know what i'm looking at??
What happened here and how can i fix this? |

i should mention that everything looks fine from within my web browser, all websites i can view normally, the problem is only on my local windows it seems...

don't know what happened but system restore is what i would do then don't do whatever you did before.

Microsoft's powertoys has an option to repair icons,worth a try,besides the whole program can be useful.

...i tried changing the windows theme or fonts/apperarance but none of that worked. funny 'cause the only thing i could read was the message box titles, the rest was all symbols. Anyways, ended up doing a system restore. Thanks all.
