W2k Slow To Shutdown
Ever since I've installed SP4 for my Window 2000, it has been acting funny. When I try to shutdown or put the computer on stand by, it takes about a minute to do so. It's actually not a big deal to me, but my concern is if there is bigger issue I'm unaware of. Sorry if this issue has come before in the other posts.

I'll take no responses as there are no problems. . .?

rundll32.exe advapi32.dll, ProcessIdleTasks and let it run in the background for 5 minutes (you'll see the HD light on). Then Defrag and hopefully that helps a little. If not, as long as there are no errors anywhere (ie. Device Manager) than all should be fine. It may have reset some tweaks you did before the upgrade, for example, kill all processes quickly, so your computer stays on longer to make sure everything is shut down. Good Luck and happy computing.

Thanks, Dragon. I'll give it try. At the moment all my devices appear to be functioning normal. I just wasn't sure if there're bigger problems lay ahead.
