virus not found
I have to hard drives and I dont know why my second hard drive always pops up with this message that says there is a virus in the E drive but I already deleted all the files and I dont know why a windows folder always pops up its like I have some invisalbe files can anyone tell me how to delete it? its a western digital 80gb. and I use windows xp.

What AV software are you using?
There could be a virus in the boot sector or MBR, or it could be a hidden file. Open up "My computer" > tools > folder options> "view" tab > For the "hidden files and folders", select "show hidden files and folders".

if u dont need that drive, do a clean wipe. u can do this by running xp setup from the cd in boot mode, and when it asks u which partition 2 install on, delete E partition and restart the comp. it should work

you could also try several differant virus programs too. most of them are free
|
