XP Optimizers

Do you guys know any good Optimizers to make XP run more efficiently? My computer is kinda slowing down. I especially want to know if theres a program that will get rid of uneeded processes for you, not just a big list that you have to find everything task yourserf...

don't know of any, easycleaner will clean registry and unnecessary files and it's free.

I don't know of a program that will automatically shut down processes. I have always gone to answersthatwork.com and looked them up. Then run msconfig to shut down the non-essential ones. This will help speed things up but some of the biggest slow downs I have seen are caused by spyware. If you don't already you should run updated versions of Spybot and Adaware. Alot of times the programs running in the bottom right of your sys tray can be configured to not start automatically by right clicking them

Sounds to me like a classic case of spyware. Try running adaware and spybot. They should clear out some of the useless junk that may be running in the background.
