Query modem

Hi friends,

I heard that there is another utility that can be used to query modem apart from Telnet and the Query command command in modem properties in Windows XP.

Have any of you come to know about that? If yes, please let me know.

Thanks and Regards
Gautam

Sure, use hytperterminal. It should be under Start - Programs - Accessories - Communications. Make a new connection, and you can issue the AT (Hayes) commands that the modem recognizes. (See also glc's response to this thread.)
