i log back in under a computer administrator not THE administrator account cant log in under administrator account because it wont take my password... that might be why i cant install the printer correctly becasue i cant get in as the admin. you know of anyway around that if you dont rememebr the admin password?

If you can't remember the administrator password, you have a problem. At least you have an account with administrative access, that's your only saving grace right now, but there are a few things that require you to log in as THE administrator.
You need to add accounts on the print server computer that correspond with the client local logins. They can be regular user accounts if all you need to do is print. You need an administrative access account on the server to do this. |
