can't get msn video

I just built a new pc and installed win xp and all critical updates (15 of them). Also dl'd direct x 9. My problem is I use msn as the home page and when I try to watch short broadband video news clips, msn video screen window comes up but I cant pick or play any of the clips. I plug in old pc with same dsl high-speed line and works just fine using 10/100 ethernet card. New pc has 10/100/1000 pro on motherboard. Can I use this connection or do I need an ethernet card? Do I need to configure something else? I've already asked msn support but no help, and intel -no answer. Everything else using internet works fine. Please advise....thanks

Sounds like a setting with their site. Maybe there's a cookie they have set on your other machine that's not been set on this one?
