Windows 2000 password question

How in the world do I stop w/2000 from asking for a password every time I reboot ?

You can also go in under Administrator,in Users and you will find a box to uncheck about passwords. I have done that when I had w2k.

I unchecked the box and it still asks for a password ????????

No, you just need to add the registry values listed. Be careful, though, when dealing with the registry.

To stop using the logon go to control panel>users and passwords clear the checkmark from uses must enter a name to use the computer. Next go to advanced tab and clear checkmark from require users to hit ctrl-alt-delete.

Note you must be logged on as admin to do this.

crjdriver----I did that. But when I reboot the checkmark is there again.

If you have a blank password it will log-on automatically after one successful log-on.
