hard drives and vista

hey guys, just wondering if there was anything i needed to do to my hard drives to install vista?? built my new rig (asus striker extreme, intel duo e6700, 8800gtx, and a couple of seagate sata baracuda hard drives) some people have told me to set up raid drives (not sure if i did it correctly) but i can get to the part where vista starts to install but stops and tells me hardware errors check your hard drives etc etc just wondering if there was a process to take to set the hard drives up to get vista to install???????????? its really bugging me windows xp install was not a problem to install in the past

Have you supplied the RAID driver for your motherboard?
First, download and save the Vista drivers for your motherboard (is this the correct mobo?). You can use a USB key, CD/DVD or floppy to save the unzipped drivers to.
When you start the Vista installation, you should come to the screen, where you select the drive to install Vista into (it's after you select the type of installation, Custom installation).
On that screen, instead of clicking NEXT, click on the link for Drive Options (Advanced) .. insert your driver USB key and you should see the RAID device on the list.

yep thats the motherboard, so download that raid driver and install it. awesome i shall give that a go and see how i go cheers dude
