Windows Installer 4.0 problems in Vista
I keep receiving an error message that the" installation ended prematurely because of an error". This keeps happening no matter what application I try to install. If I could find this I would delete and reinstall 4.0. However MS seems to have hidden it in the registry. Any help is greatly appreciated.

what are you trying to install?
and when you are clicking on the instal file did you right click and select run as admin?

Thanks and that did not work. Is there a way to reinstall the Windows Installer 4.0?
