Firefox/Vista problem
Pretty much since I built my new computer with Vista and installed Firefox, I've been having a strange problem. After I start up my computer and it's still opening all of the programs and whatnot that it opens at the start (firewall, virus protection, all that kind of stuff), if I try to open Firefox while these programs are still opening, it never opens. When I try again to open it nothing happens.
When I go the "processes" tab in the task manager, Firefox is listed, but it doesn't respond when I tell it to end the process. If I try to open Firefox again, another instance of it shows up in the "processes" tab, and that second instance I can close, but the first one never closes and it keeps me from opening Firefox. I have to restart my computer to be able to open it (which is especially annoying considering it just started up). If this makes any sense I'd appreciate some help

What version of Firefox? Firefox has an ongoing issue with the code not being completely Vista compatible. My suggestion would be to try installing into a default location with more relaxed security permissions and trying again. As of 2.0.0.6 there are still some issues with Firefox and Vista but not those that you describe - https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=352420 has more issues.

It's version 2.0.0.7. As far as installing to a default location with more relaxed security settings, I'm not sure what you mean. I installed to the default location when I installed it the first time.
