Windows Mail and Vista Problems

Im using Windows Vista with Windows Mail as my email program and Im having a lot of issues with it. When I click on a contact email link from a website, it wont allow me to send the contact an email. I get a box asking me to "allow" or "Dont allow" and it said "a Website wants to open web content using this program on your computer". When I click allow it does nothing. Some times I get an error message saying that it is not my "default" mail client. Even though my email is listed as the default mail when I go to tools
Also Im having issues with my contacts in my address book. Some times when I type in the name of some one Im sending it wont auto add it to the send to box. I have to actually go to contacts and copy and paste the address to the email.
