Windows Mail To outlook express
I am going backwards on one of my laptops at the office from vista to xp pro. Anyone know how to covert mail from Windows Mail to Outlook Express?

Can try the usual File Import and see what happens.

I'm going to need that, too, once my part comes to fix my regular system and get off this laptop. I can't even find the 'mail' files on the vista laptop due to "access denied" messages when trying to explore the drive's contents. I would imaging you can take the dbx files, once found, and copy them over... but I haven't tried it yet.

Tools->Options->Advance tab->Maintenance->"Store Folder"
(Windows mail doesn't use dbx file) |

I don't see a way to do it. in the export tool it does not offer an option for outlook express.
Edit: You can export them into a folder then retrieve them in Outlook but not outlook express. Nothing is free with bill gates.
