Wndows - No Disk

Guys
I keep getting this error massage and its starting to effect my life. Just kidding no but its poping up a lot and would #1 like to know what the hell it is and #2 how to get it out of my system. I’m using Vista Ultimate and am very happy with it. Hell I love it. Im inserting a screenshot of the error

when does this problem occur???
try msconfig... make sure your booting in the boot.ini...still nothing i would reinstall windows..

Could be a driver issue. Do you notice the error happen while using an external hard drive? What's the common denominator? I would check the Device Manager for driver problems:
1.) Start
2.) Right-Click My Computer
3.) Select manage
4.) Browse to Device Manager
5.) Check for exclamation points in yellow icons, red X, ETC.
