Windows live mail

My friend has a laptop running XP.
When she has an e-mail in Hotmail she wishes to forward, it becomes ready, but the message area is very very small, and she has trouble trying to delete the old addresses from the message.
She says she cannot drag the message area any larger.

I am sorry, but I have no further information, as I was asked about this on the phone.
