I recently bought a new PC from Mesh.Couple of probs :system restore doesn't work (the writer experienced a transient error [0x800423F3] and System Information is unavailable (Cannot access the windows management instrumentation software.Windows management files may be moved or missing).The system specs are as follows :

MESH Elite Premier Plus
Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 Processor (2.66GHz,6mb Cache,1333MHz)
Genuine Windows Vista with service pack 1
PCI Express NVidia GeForce Mainboard Intel Core 2 duo/quad core MATX
4GB DDR2 667mhZ memory
500GB serial ATA hard drive with 16MB buffer
Lightscribe Super format 20x Dual layer DVD writer
256MB nVIDIA GeForce 8500gt
Creative labs Sound blaster X-Fi Xtreme Gamer sound card

Norton internet security 2008 is also installed.

Hope someone can help me with this,has my system been hacked?Why can't I access the windows management files?Is it Vista teething probs?Any help appreciated.

Do you have the Vista disc? If not, You can make a
Vista Repair Disc
