Video Buffering

Up until a few days ago, I could watch videos just fine, news, music, etc. Now for some reason I can't watch any of the above due to constant stopping, buffer, play, stop, buffer, play throughout the whole length of the video. Like I said, it was fine before but not anymore. Very irritating. I hope I didn't pick up a bug or something. I'm running on Vista Home Basic, DSL.

Does that only happen with online videos, or does it happen with videos that are all ready on your hard drive?

If with only online videos, try letting the whole video load first before playing.

I tried that, along with what seems like a million other things, all to no avail, so just for the heck of it, I re-installed my broadband internet disc and lo and behold, the videos now play fine. What one has to do with the other is beyond me, but it worked. Finally! Thanks for your suggestion though.
