Video Card upgrade in Vista...
Hey, just wanted to check and see if there is anything new in swapping video cards in Vista. I just bought my first Vista machine and want to change out the Video Card in the system I bought.
In XP, to change a card I would: 1. delete video card drivers 2. turn off cpu 3. swap old card with new card 4. start up cpu and install new drivers Is this basically still what I need to do in Vista? Thanks. MJTS2345 |

Just make sure the power supply is strong enough.

Also, a common mistake is not pushing the video card in the pci slot all the way in.
