Windows desktop elements disappeared
... And suddenly my windows Vista laptop could not display the desktop elements. How do I restore them and not have to go through the explorer or file menu.

hi
do you have quick launch icons just to the right of the start button? if so one of those is 'show desktop'. try clicking on that first to see what happens. |

I tried that but nothing seems to work. It looks like I clicked on something which suddenly gave me an iconless desktop.
Dunno what to do and I can't do a re-install bc I have a ton of documents there in. |
