Font for vista
I have a software program Boss font manager and it doesn't work with vista. I call the company and they said vista is nothing but problems with that software. They do not have a upgrade that works with vista. I only need font signature right now. Does anyone know of a good and possibly free software or web site to get some free fonts? and if I put any new fonts in the folder in the control panel will I be able to use it in any program I use?
Thank you for any help Anthony

Personally I think that there are enough freeware fonts out there to negate the need for any proprietary software. A good font writer will create a font - either free or paid - and allowed the operating system to control it .. instead of creating ridiculous font managers.
There are tons of freeware fonts out there: Google is your best friend - http://www.google.com/search?q=freeware+fonts Or if your needs are for a paid font, I'm sure there are loads of font designers that will create a TTF as per your specs. |
