Can't delete a shortcut!!

Hey everyone,

I uninstalled a program and the shortcut is still on the desktop!

I try to delete it and vista gives me a warning that "Item Not Found" and that I should verify the item's location and try again. I go to properties and try to change some stuff but nothing works. I tried CCleaner to clean the registry as well but that didn't help.

Any other ideas on how to remove a dead shortcut?

Try rebooting. I bet it'll disappear.

I only knew that cuz I'd had the same panic attack with my Vista Ultimate. Another "don't know why it happens" deal is when the Recycle Bin disappears after you empty it! Doh!
