Hey everyone, its been quite some time since i last post...lol
Anyway, I really need some advice because i can really use the LAN in my room to surf the net. For no reason after a few minutes it will turn to 'Limited Connectivity', and so I can't really surf the web except for the few minutes after i restart my pc. I also used Ubuntu (dual-boot) but its fine when it comes to surfing the web, it doesn't get that limited connectivity. So I feel that it is an OS problem.. Does anyone knows how to reset all the network conditions to back where it was when it was newly installed? How to repair it? i tried resetting the tcp/ip settings using netsh command but it doesn't help anyway... Btw my half open tcp limit is 500 but i do not think that it should be a problem right? Thanks a lot......

Try re installing the drivers.
If that doesn't work, I would probably delete the connection, and then create a new one.

Reinstalling the drivers doesn't work...what if i perform a repair install of vista using the upgrade option? will it work? And whenever I tried to reset the tcpip settings, I got this message
Reseting Echo Request, failed. Access is denied. The others were OK! I ran the command prompt as administrator and yet that happens. I am not sure whether is that the issue? |
