vista driver help cd/dvdroms

Hi, wasnt sure if this issure belongs here or not but here goes.

I recently built a system running vista64 with 2 dvd roms one is a LITE_ON DVDRW LH-20A1L ATA DEVICE
the other is ATAPI DVD A DH20A4P ATA DEVICE

My problem is that the system (windows is not recognizing them in the My computer folder and access to them is non existent however BOTH dvdroms show up in the DEVICE MANAGER.

in the device manager it says they have a error icon. checking the details to find out says:

Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution availa
ble.

using the MS online driver checker didnt help at all and i cant access my vista cd to get the drivers but im not sure if it is a bad driver or a wrong setting somewhere?

would appreciate some help
