Windows Easy Transfer - Email
I want to use Easy Transfer to help my mom migrate her emails from my dad's computer to her new laptop. He doesn't want her on his computer anymore.
(She's calling me right now asking me how to print to a network printer. Fun stuff.) Both computers are running Vista. I got to the point where I could tell her to select 'Custom' and it gave us a tree where we could select files/settings to transfer, but we didn't see email anywhere. She is coming from and going to Windows Mail 7. We don't want to transfer anything but email. They live out of state so I can't really experiment on my own. |

ps...You could do it the good old fashion way-> File Export on the old machine - File Import on the new.

Could I just have her copy the AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Mail directory to the new computer?

You could do that to a temp folder and then try the Import function on her end.
